Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers spacious rooms that may appear larger than they are, creating a private spa ambiance in the Lake District. Though the hot tub didn't match the pictures, the shower/steam room and heated seating were enjoyable. Staff were nice and helpful, ensuring a pleasant weekend stay. The location, set back from the lake but with convenient parking, is ideal for exploring the vibrant town. Dining was delicious, and the hotel boasts a giant spa bath and Molton Brown Toiletries in the room.
The hotel offers a lovely stay, great for a romantic getaway with a private garden, jacuzzi bath, and sauna. The room was lovely, although a bit warm at night, making it hard to sleep. The service was incredible, with friendly and welcoming staff always eager to help and provide recommendations. The location is perfect, close to the docks and surrounded by cute restaurants. The dining experience was superb, with a variety of high-quality meals. A downside was the issue with the radiator warmth and potential noise from the room above.
I had a wonderful stay at Windermere Boutique Hotel. The rooms, though with some restrictive headroom due to the loft conversion, were excellent. I even received a lovely card from the hotel for our Honeymoon. The cleanliness and high standards were impressive. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. The only downside was the need to close the curtains for privacy as the room overlooked an alleyway.
